Most of the Victorian houses in San Francisco were built between the years of 1849 to 1915. These ornate and colorful homes reflect the city’s rapid growth during the Gold Rush Era. Many of the homes survived the devastating 1906 earthquake that struck San Francisco and their distinctive silhouettes grace city street to this day.
